This week, the CKS Cloud team joined 1400+ Microsoft Dynamics 365 partners, ISVs, and industry leaders in Orlando, Florida
Why? To attend DirectionsNA 2026 — the premier annual conference for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner ecosystem!
- DirectionsNA 2026 in Orlando was three packed days, from April 27-29.
- Countless conversations and great breakout sessions.
- A renewed sense of momentum heading into the rest of 2026.
Here’s a look at what made this conference one of the most productive events we’ve attended.
Strategic Partner Introductions (Opening New Doors)
One of the greatest values of DirectionsNA is the sheer density of the right people in one place. This year was no exception. Over Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, our team engaged in a remarkable number of new partner intros:
- Connecting with ISVs (independent software vendors),
- Meeting potential implementation partners, and
- Reviewing service providers whose solutions and expertise complement what CKS delivers to our clients every day.
These weren’t chance hallway encounters. We came prepared with a clear picture of where CKS Cloud is headed and what kinds of partnerships would accelerate value for our clients.
The result was a series of focused, strategic conversations that are already being followed up with next steps.
A few of these introductions have the potential to evolve into long-term go-to-market relationships — and we’re excited to share more as those discussions mature.
Meetings That Moved the Needle
Beyond introductions, the conference gave us dedicated time to go deeper with existing partners and explore how we can better serve mutual prospects and clients.
Strategic meetings covered everything from roadmap alignment to joint delivery models, answering the critical question: how do we make implementations smoother, faster, and deliver optimized results for our clients?
We also had productive discussions around the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central roadmap, licensing directions, and how the broader platform ecosystem is evolving.
Intelligence that directly shapes how we advise clients and plan implementations.
Client Scenario Discussions: Real Problems, Real Solutions
Perhaps the most grounding — and energizing — conversations of the week were the ones anchored in actual client scenarios.
Whether preparing for an upcoming engagement or exploring how to best serve a prospect with a complex set of requirements, DirectionsNA gave us the backdrop to think through these challenges with partners who’ve seen similar situations.
These discussions are invaluable. They sharpen our thinking, validate our approach, and sometimes surface a tool, a technique, or a partner that changes how we approach a solution entirely.
Walking away with fresh perspective on live client challenges is a tangible win.
Breakout Sessions: Technical Depth Meets Strategic Vision
The conference breakout sessions did not disappoint.
From deep technical dives into Business Central functionality and integration patterns, to high-level strategic sessions on partner growth, AI adoption, and the future of the Dynamics ecosystem — there was no shortage of content to absorb.
Our team spread out across sessions to maximize coverage, then regrouped to share key takeaways. A few standout themes that kept surfacing include:
- AI-driven capabilities becoming increasingly embedded in Dynamics 365 workflows.
- Licensing and packaging evolution to partners to meet evolving client requirements.
- Implementation best practices that reflect the growing complexity of modern client environments.
- Ecosystem integration — how Business Central plays with the broader Microsoft stack, from Power Platform to Azure.
The depth of content available in just three days was a reminder of why showing up in person matters.
Why Events Like This Matter
In an industry where so much business is conducted remotely, there remains something irreplaceable about the face-to-face conversations that happen at an event like DirectionsNA. Relationships accelerate. Trust builds faster. And ideas that might take weeks to surface over email emerge in a single coffee-break conversation.
For CKS Cloud, this conference was a meaningful investment in our partnerships, our clients, and our own growth as a team. We came with clear objectives and left with full calendars, fresh energy, and a stronger network than we arrived with.
Next Steps After DirectionsNA 2026
The real work, of course, happens after the conference. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be following up on the connections made, advancing partnership conversations, and applying what we learned directly to the client engagements we’re supporting right now.
If you crossed paths with us in Orlando — thank you for the conversation. And if you’re a business evaluating Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or a partner looking to explore how CKS Cloud might fit into your ecosystem, we’d love to continue the dialogue.
Let’s keep the momentum going.
