One day, after explaining RIM to a client with a glazed look in their eye, I grabbed a red magic marker and a piece of paper to show the range of RIM on any ERP project — from pure template to highly complex — in a simple, visual form.
What popped into mind, as an old radio guy, was the volume unit or “VU” meters from audio mixing boards and other equipment…
