“My AI Journey” – Carrie Saunders, CEO of CKS

Over the past month, our CEO, Carrie Saunders has been using the latest release of Microsoft’s AI Assistant – Copilot. Utilizing the this new tool she has come to some new conclusions about the power of AI.

My AI Journey

Month 1

I was not sure what to expect from AI in general and more specifically when I signed up for Copilot, an AI assistant that helps me with various tasks. I had some doubts about the reliability and usefulness of AI, but I decided to give it a try. I was amazed by how much Copilot improved my productivity and creativity in the first month. Here are some examples of how Copilot helped me in month one of my personal and professional life.

Copilot as a scribe

One of the first things I used Copilot for was taking meeting notes – start simple. I found that Copilot was able to capture the main points and action items of the meetings, and generate concise and clear notes. I no longer had to worry about missing important details or spending hours on writing and editing notes. Copilot saved me A LOT of time and energy, and allowed me to focus on the meeting itself.

Copilot as a planner

I also used Copilot Mobile to help me with planning a birthday party for my child. I wanted to have a theme of Avengers, and I asked Copilot to find some games and activities related to the superheroes. Copilot quickly provided me with a list of options, along with the instructions and materials needed. I was impressed by how Copilot understood my request and delivered relevant and fun suggestions. I am now able to organize a memorable party coming up for my son and the guests.

Copilot as a partner

By the end of the first month, I felt that Copilot was more than just a tool. It was a partner that supported me in various aspects of my life. I appreciated how Copilot learned from my preferences and feedback, and adapted to my needs and goals. I trusted Copilot to handle the tasks that I delegated, and to provide me with helpful and creative ideas. I was no longer apprehensive about AI, but rather excited about the possibilities that Copilot opened up for me.
